Optiwhite klaas ehk eriti kirgas klaas

Optiwhite or extra clear glass is clear or float glass with very high light transmission compared to regular glass. Unlike regular glass, which is slightly greenish or blue-ish, optiwhite is practically colourless and there is no other glass like it.

Therefore, it is ideal for use where the edges of the glass are visible or where a neutral color is desired, to be repainted later if possible.

Due to the lack of color, optiwhite is used for the manufacture of glass showcases and other furniture intended for displaying objects, in home appliances and in painted glass, where color stability is important. Also, optiwhite is irreplaceable as a back wall glass in the kitchen, if you don't want to distort the color of the wall or wallpaper behind it.

Optiwhite glass can be processed like normal clear glass: cut, grind, drill, toughen, laminate, background paint.
