Insulated glass
Window glass play an important role in ensuring heat and noise insulation. A proper window must make your home safe, energy-efficient and quiet. The surface of the glass makes up more than 75% of the total surface of the window, which is why it is important that the insulated glass is of quality and the solution is well thought out.
Used in windows, doors and facades to ensure heat retention and sound insulation. Insulated glass consist of 2 or 3 glasses that are very tightly connected. There is air or inert gas between the glasses (for the best insulation), and their edges are covered with mastic to maintain hermeticity, i.e. air tightness.
In the case of double glazing, the optimal thickness of the glass is 4-6mm, one of which is sometimes a selective glass. Selective glass significantly improves thermal insulation and reduces heat loss by reflecting heat radiation back into the room. NB! The transparency of the light and the original glass shade are preserved.
Triple glazing units usually consist of 14-18 mm thick spacers and two energy-saving glasses. Much higher heat retention and sound insulation!
Insulated glass can be ordered not only from normal, clear glass, but also from tinted, patterned, laminated, tempered and special glass. There is also a selection of special shapes, such as triangles, trapezoids, ovals, round, etc.
Klaas24 offers double and triple glazing, as well as thermal spacers, which improve the heat resistance of windows by up to 10%. To reduce noise, special noise-absorbing glasses are used, which ensure the best noise isolation.
NB! For larger (width 1600+ and/or length 2500+) glass packages, the delivery time is longer.
