Tinted glass

Tinted glass is coloured glass to which a color pigment has been added, which reduces both visual and radiant transmittance. The glass can be tinted with different types of coating that block and/or reflect different amounts and types of light according to the needs and preferences of the consumer.

Light transmission depends significantly on the thickness of the glass - the thicker the glass, the darker it is.

Tinted glass can be processed in the same way as normal float glass: cut, grind, toughen, drill, laminate, etc.

Tinted glass is used in the manufacture of window panes, furniture, partitions, doors, shower corners, glass railings, etc.

• 30-50% better reduction of direct solar heat energy than conventional clear glass;
• Permanent tint - also called body tinted glass, as the shade is an integral part of the glass. The paint cannot be removed;
• Reducing cooling energy costs;
